Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences

Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences (SKUMS) is located in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Since its start in 1987, SKUMS has grown significantly, offering educational programmes in medicine and healthcare.

Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences offers a diverse range of undergraduate programmes in the field of healthcare and medical sciences.

School of allied medical sciences: radiological technology, medical laboratory sciences, and anaesthesiology

School of nursing and midwifery, Borujen branch: nursing, operating-room nursing, midwifery, intensive care, and medical emergencies

School of health: public health and environmental health engineering

The university also provides degrees at master’s and PhD level. Master’s subjects include clinical biochemistry, medical biotechnology, genetics, intensive-care nursing and environmental health engineering. At PhD level, students can choose programmes such as tissue engineering, molecular medicine, virology and medical immunology.
