Universidade Estadual de Goiás

The Universidade Estadual de Goiás is a relatively young unversity having been established in 1999. It is one of three public universities based in Goiás, Brazil.

Admission to the university is selective based on an entrance examination.

Courses are offered in arts and humanities, business and social sciences, medicine and health, engineering, and science and technology. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and distance learning courses.

There is a library on campus. Students can join a range of clubs including theatre, dance, music, bands and film clubs.

The university has an incubator programme which supports the development of projects and businesses which support the local community as well as regional and national development.
