The Government unveiled its plans to reform 14 to 19 education and training, including the introduction of 14 vocational diplomas, and extended essays and harder questions at A level that aim to stretch the brightest students. The 14 to 19 plan is the Government's response to a review by former Ofsted chief Mike Tomlinson that recommended scrapping A levels.
