An international team of scientists has concluded a four-year effort to agree on a "plant DNA barcode". The code will provide the foundation for use of DNA technologies to identify plants. Academics from the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences at Aberystwyth University were members of the 52-strong team of scientists from ten countries who collaborated on the work.
