Some big names are speaking at a widening participation conference in Earl's Court, London, this month. The director of the Office for Fair Access and the new chief executive of the Higher Education Funding Council for England to name two. But neither is the keynote speaker. The big draw is the Department for Education and Skills policy team leader, one Greg Boone.
