The Arts and Humanities Research Board is fostering the marriage of science and art with a fellowship scheme for creative and performing arts staff in England who want to collaborate with scientists and engineers.
AHRB chief executive Geoffrey Crossick said: "We hope these fellowships will go some way towards exploring and developing this relationship."
The application deadline for grants is March 14.
