The cessation of hostilities between Glasgow University AUT and vice chancellor Graeme Davies, given to strictures about "passengers" who do too little research, means that staff there can now smile when asked the difference between Glasgow and a Ford Galaxy. Apparently a Galaxy only takes eight passengers.
