Manchester University has launched a cancer research centre that it hopes will make it a world leader in the exploration and treatment of cancer.
The Manchester Cancer Research Centre will bring together scientists from the university, the Paterson Institute of Cancer Research, the Christie Hospital in Manchester and Cancer Research UK.
