The late film director Stanley Kubrick's archives have been donated to the University of the Arts London, it was announced this week.
They include scripts, costumes, props and equipment used for films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Shining . The university plans to hold exhibitions and film festivals based on the archives, which will be housed at the London College of Communication in South London.
Film director Steven Spielberg said: 'I am pleased to hear that Kubrick's archives are going to the university, which will ensure his legacy and vision are kept alive'
