Sean MacGlonin contributed greatly to the peace and quiet of central London last weekend by playing the bagpipes in Trafalgar Square as a preparation for the England v Scotland match at Wembley, then revealed to reporters that he is not only a native of that well-known centre of Celtic culture, the Bronx, but a law graduate from Trinity College, Cambridge.
