Nose picking, farting and belching in public are rife in the UK, according to a survey by London's Science Museum.
More than a third of the 6,000 people surveyed said they picked their nose more than five times a day. A similar percentage said they had no shame in burping loudly in public or passing wind indiscreetly. The survey was part of the exhibition "Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body", which runs at the museum until September 6.
