Foresight cash

More than Pounds 50 million of advanced equipment is to be provided for universities and colleges through a partnership between funding councils, research councils and Government departments. The money available for equipment in Foresight priority areas is Pounds 13 million more than the original target set by the joint research equipment initiative, launched earlier this year. Half the money is matched funding from industry and other sponsors.
