Health workers offered ILT membership

Registered nurses, midwives and health visitors who qualified with the UK Central Council can now apply for immediate membership of the Institute for Learning and Teaching. The ILT said membership would enable nurses to play a fuller role in higher education and help to shape the future of professional self-regulation. Membership of the York-based ILT costs Pounds 75 a year and is open to anyone who teaches or supports learning in higher education.
