The price of UK academic books has fallen in the past academic year, according to the Library and Information Statistics Unit at Loughborough University.
The prices for UK-sourced titles have fallen in the year to June 2005 by 4p, to £41.85. Over the past four years, UK academic book prices have risen by an average of 6.7 per cent.
