Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has returned to his native Glasgow to open the Hampden National Stadium Sports Health and Injury Clinic, a partnership involving the Scottish Football Association and Glasgow, Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian universities. The facility will be a focus for research and education in sports and exercise medicine and will also offer treatment to the public seven days a week.
