US releases Russian student on bail
A Russian graduate student at Bauman Moscow State Technical University has been released on bail after three weeks in custody in the United States on charges of breaching digital copyright law by promoting book-decrypting software. Adobe Systems, at whose products the software was aimed, has withdrawn its support from the action, but federal prosecutors could still begin a criminal prosecution.
