Leicester University played host to the most unlikely of diners last week. Engelbert Humperdinck - the "King of Romance" - was spotted tucking into a Christmas dinner in the university's own "posh" restaurant.
The sideburned crooner had tuberculosis as a child and regularly donates to the university hospitals in his hometown. Perhaps Leicester could offer a "night with Enge" in its bid to draw in high-flying academics.
