Academics at the London School of Economics need not worry about being stuck for words on open days. The institution has prepared a PowerPoint presentation with a sales pitch for lecturers. One disgruntled academic told Diary: "Who are they kidding? I have two PhDs and a conscience. Surely it is better if I try to tell [students] as truthfully as I can and in my own words what it's like to study at an elite university."
