Southampton University spinoff Multicosm is the fifth company to receive investment from Amadeus, the venture capital fund whose backers include Microsoft and Reuters. 3i and Natwest have also invested in the company, which is chasing the latest business trend by positioning itself in the "knowledge management" market.
