Regular diary readers cannot have missed the fact that universities have been going football crazy in an attempt to woo students. It was, therefore, only a matter of time before rugby got in on the act.
Now the University of Northumbria at Newcastle business school has enlisted the Newcastle Falcons rugby team to help with courses geared to business improvement. "Clients" will be taken onto the pitch to watch the Falcons in action and then "look at how business performance can be improved using what they have seen".
