Nip into Tesco for a byte on the Internet

Tesco supermarket in Guildford has embraced the lifelong learning revolution and is to set up a "Unicafe" - a distance-learning Internet cafe for part-time students- with the University of Surrey next spring. The university hopes to set up other cafes at other local venues including the leisure centre. The project has been aided by a Pounds 160,000 grant from the European Social Fund.
