The British Film Institute is seeking input on how to improve access to its collection of film and television materials. Ultimately, its goal is to create a centre for learning and research and it is seeking partners, including universities, to help it achieve this.
Consultants investigating the options will be overseen by a steering group that includes Clive Field, director of scholarship and collections at the British Library; John Ellis, head of media arts, Royal Holloway, University of London; and Christine Geraghty, professor of film and television studies at Glasgow University.
