Universities are forever lamenting the lack of funding for higher education, and most are trying to emulate the US model of tapping their alumni. Some have enlisted the services of a Nottingham-based PR firm, Skeleton Productions, which organises alumni reunion parties. Judging by the "funky" graduates who have signed up for the Bristol event - among them Elvis and Saddam Hussein - the company's name is entirely appropriate.
But if all the listed participants turn up, it stands to be quite an event.
They include Hugh Jass, Ivor Bigun and none other than Osama bin Laden - quite a feat for three Nottingham University student entrepreneurs to achieve, given the struggles the CIA is having to locate him.
