Oxford University ordered the destruction of last week's issue of its student newspaper after it published leaked material from a student disciplinary case.
Oxford Student journalists Patrick Foster and Jack Shenker had obtained a 187-page dossier, including copies of staff and student e-mails and a report by the university's internal police.
The issue's entire run was pulped after the university threatened a court injunction.
