Thirty-six senior policy-makers and managers from central and local government and from public and voluntary services started on Warwick University Business School's new master of public administration course this week, the first in the United Kingdom.
It is modelled on similar courses to Harvard University and is intended to provide a world-class qualification equivalent to the Warwick MBA.
