Malaysian students from across the UK have travelled to Belfast for the first-ever Malaysian student conference, which will celebrate their contribution to academic life in the UK. Postgraduate students from 26 institutions in England, Ireland and Malaysia travelled to Queen's University Belfast last week to discuss engineering and scientific research. The university already has partnerships with a number of Malaysian institutions and has formed the Centre for Population Health in the south-east Asian country, together with the University of Malaya.
