The Scottish Agricultural College has attracted 24 professionals to its first completely flexible learning course, an MSc in organic farming.
The students on the part-time, two-year course include farmers and managers of organic farms as well as professionals in other sectors who farm on a part-time basis. Some have won financial support from the European Social Fund for computer equipment and the cost of attending weekend schools.
