Services fail to thrive

More than half of London businesses are unaware of the services offered by the capital's universities and business schools.Many others are put off by the costs. A survey of the 3,500 members of the London Chamber of Commerce, carried out by Middlesex University, found that less than a third have ever used them. In the past three years the average spend was less than £50,000, with staff training being the main service used.
