Southampton Institute appoints Roger Brown

Southampton Institute has appointed Roger Brown, former chief executive of the Higher Education Quality Council, as its new director. Dr Brown will take up the post from April. He will replace Tim Wheeler, who has been acting director since September following the early retirement of the former director, David Leyland.
