The European Space Agency has unveiled its five-year, £53 million plan to establish environmental information services from space.
The ESA and the European Commission set up the global monitoring for environment and security programme to track environmental stress, analyse consequences of climate change and manage natural resources. The ESA will invite bids for ten contracts worth £10 million in total next month.
