Sadly The THES goes to press too early to report on this week's newest escapade from the indefatigable revolutionary Keith Flett, the only person on earth to have noticed that 30 years have passed since the student occupation of Hornsey College of Art in 1968. This slight echo of the Paris hubbub of the same vintage came complete with a student teach-in, and the participation of Kim Howells, now minister for lifelong learning.
It was to be commemorated last night with a display of every possible red flag and banner at the college, which has since gone respectable by becoming the TUC National Education Centre.
