An environmental technology seminar on sustainable production and consumption - opportunities for research, will take place in Montpellier, France, on 11 and 12 October. The event will:
- look at potential research needs in environmental technology;
- offer a forum for the exchange of experiences, knowledge and tools;
- evaluate the assessment of environmental issues within the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7);
- study the relationship between technology and general environmental problems.
Topics will include: policy support and life cycle thinking; life cycle assessment; sustainability assessment; sustainable management of energy, water, waste and landscape.
