Anne Wright, chief executive of the University for Industry, announced this week that she is to leave her post in September to become an adviser on post-16 e-learning to the Department for Education and Employment.
She said she wanted to move forward to the "next stage" in her career, now that the UfI's learndirect e-learning network had been successfully launched. She will continue her relationship with UfI as a non-executive director on its board.
