(Photograph) - World View: A new exhibition The Earth and the Heavens opened earlier this month at the King's Library (within the British Museum, Great Russell Street London WC1) and runs until October 22.
It describes the history of mapping both Earth and sky, and features material by Copernicus, Tycho Brahe, Mercator, Ortelius, William Herschel and others. Seen here is Ptolomey's world map, c150 AD.
