And winner of the most patronising blurb to students on a university website goes to... the University of Wales' North East Wales Institute of Higher Education. Under the section Books Etc it says: "All universities have a library. Sometimes they're given strange names like Information and Student Services, but they're still the place where you go to get books out. And use computers. And read magazines, surf the internet (sic). Librarians have been around since before Google - and will be here when it's gone - so they know what they are talking about. Pick their brains and you could be on to a winner. We don't just lend books out - the bookshop will try to sell them to you as well."
