May I suggest a simplified quality-of-life table. It has only three criteria, against which I rank my own institution. The first is low property prices - on this Wolverhampton scores well. The second is proximity to countryside - again Wolverhampton does well. The third is proximity to Selhurst Park, home of Crystal Palace Football Club - on this measure Wolverhampton does very poorly indeed.
