Oxford scientists will make many a parrot happy with their DNA test to find its sex from a feather. Determining the sex of one's parrot used to be a traumatic business for Polly, involving operations, sedation and blood tests. Now, thanks to a test developed at the department of zoology in Oxford, parrots can be assigned a suitable mate while sitting pretty.
