Who let down whom in dispute? 5

During our long dispute, Sally Hunt came to speak at a lecturers' union Natfhe meeting at London Metropolitan University and promised us total support. I tried to take up that offer: no one at the Association of University Teachers would take our calls. AUT members at London Met claimed they had received no indication that the AUT supported our action. Natfhe remained supportive throughout. I leave it to you to decide whose rhetoric was not matched by action.
