Expand NVQ role

Higher education should play a more active role in the delivery of higher-level National Vocational Qualifications, according to a new position paper by the Department of Education and Employment. The paper suggests universities should be an "obvious source" of assessment facilities for NVQs and cites the Open University Validation Service as a model.
