The data used for your league tables are selective. In terms of RAE scores, the University of Luton is recorded as receiving a 3a in business studies and a 3b in hospitality, leisure, recreation, sport and tourism. You fail to report that the university received a 4 in tourism.
Luton received the highest score of any university entering tourism separately, and equalled the highest scores of other universities that entered tourism staff in other units of assessment. Luton was also the most improved university in the area of tourism. The inclusion of these data would almost certainly improve our position within the tables.
