There should be the "closest possible" co-operation on quality assurance between the proposed new single quality agency for higher education and the Teacher Training Agency, the final report of the Joint Planning Group for the single agency says.
Christopher Kenyon, chairman of manufacturing group William Kenyon and Sons and board member of the Higher Education Quality Council, will head the agency.
