Data privatised

A database company is to take over responsibility for supplying information on the value of qualifications abroad from the British Council. The private consortium ECTIS will run Britain's National Academic Recognition Information Centre, which handles queries from students and employers about the validity of British qualifications in other countries and vice versa.
