In your obituary of the distinguished American political scientist Marshall Berman (26 September), it is stated that he wrote an introduction to the latest Penguin edition of Marx’s Communist Manifesto. Hold on, didn’t Friedrich Engels also have something to do with that historic work? His name appears on the title page of the original 1848 edition.
