THE Economic and Social Research Council's Pounds 1.5 million programme on Economic Beliefs and Behaviour was launched in 1994 and is scheduled to be completed next year. More than 50 papers covering a wide range of issues are being compiled. Their findings will be summarised in a book, Choice and Public Policy, edited by the programme director, Peter Taylor-Gooby from Kent University. It will be published next year by Macmillan.
