The Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2015 will be published online at 21.00 BST on Wednesday 10 June, in time for their official launch on 11 June in Shanghai at the APAC Research Intelligence Conference – "Building World-Leading Research Universities".

THE has confirmed that the prestigious top 100 list, along with detailed analysis of the results, will also be published in a print supplement with THE magazine on 11 June.

Phil Baty, editor of the THE World University Rankings portfolio, said: “There is a great expectation that Asia is poised to be the next global higher education superpower, and THE’s top 100 list, which covers the entire Asian continent, will go a long way to demonstrating the rising strength of top institutions in the region, as well as shifting national dynamics in the region.

“So we are thrilled to be launching the 2015 results in China, the epicentre of Asia’s outstanding improvement in higher education and research, to explore the results and their implications in detail.”

Mr Baty will officially launch the rankings with a keynote speech at the APAC conference, run by Elsevier in partnership with Shanghai’s Fudan University.

Elsevier’s APAC Research Intelligence Conference brings together university leaders from across the region to examine and share best practices in research management and strategy. Co-hosted with Fudan University, it builds on the success of last year’s conference held in Singapore at Nanyang Technological University. The theme of this year’s conference is “Building World-Leading Research Universities”. Its aim is to examine the evolving expectations, available solutions, and best practices for optimising research strategies.
