Wanted - details of somebody called John Casey, author of a panoramic assault on Dearing in The Spectator. Paragraph two begins: "'Higher education,' the very term is like a knell. It brings to mind the cultural Gobi Desert that is The Times Higher Educational Supplement." He is welcome to get our name wrong, and (as he does) to insult our competitors on an equal-opportunities basis, but is his aversion to the term higher education really compatible with a post at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge?
