Further education colleges often work with other training organisations to tackle the problem of young people who opt out of education, says a report from the Further Education Development Agency. The report, FE:Giving Young People a New Start, says research by FEDA found such collaborative work was vital in helping to reduce the number of drop-outs in the last year of compulsory schooling or at 16-plus.
