Feeling poorly is not always a bad thing

ILLNESS can be good for you, according to research by a PhDstudent. Samantha Sodergren, of the University of Plymouth's health-related quality of life research centre, found sickness could have a positive effect on people's lives. Her study of 55 people with a variety of illnesses, including cancer, found some felt it had improved their lives 100 per cent.
