The teacher trainer-critic's annual chief executive's lecture last week was accompanied by slides peppered with some of the most rudimentary blunders. On one, "their" became "there", and in another, the TTA's "roll" was discussed. "If these were used as overheads by a trainee teacher the department responsible would fail its inspection and the TTA would close it down," said an astounded member of the audience.
