INDUSTRIAL designers at the University of East London are taking part in an Pounds 800,000 European-wide project to help shape the future of transport planning. The university's Industrial Design Research Centre is leading part of the project based on Stratford, in East London, already the site of bus, rail and underground facilities and chosen as the East London site for the Eurorail Terminal. The project will identify groups of people, both users and non-users of existing services, to find out their needs and difficulties.
